Ogie Alcasid, in a report by Bandera Chika news, admitted he was against the decision of her eldest child, Leila Alcasid, to live with her boyfriend, Curtis Smith under one roof.

Leila is the daughter of Ogie with his ex-wife, Australian beauty queen and former 1994 Ms Universe candidate, Michelle Van Eimeren.

In a video shared by Bandera, Ogie said he didn’t like what his daughter did, adding that she should have talked to him about it first.

“Anak, I didn't like what you did because that's something that I wished you talked to me about, diba?” Ogie said in the video interview.

Nevertheless, the famous singer-songwriter-producer admitted that what’s done is done, indicating that he should just accept it.

He also said that if Leila wanted to live as an adult, then she should face life as an adult.

“However, nandyan na yan eh, ginawa nyo na yun so... You want to be an adult so you face life as an adult,” the singer-songwriter said.

“And I'm proud she doesn't even ask money from me,” Ogie added.

Their family is in Hong Kong right now to celebrate the birthday of Ogie, which he wasn’t able to do so last month because he was in America.

The singer also said he’s going to take this opportunity to have a heart-to-heart talk with Leila while they’re in Hong Kong.

Ogie, along with his wife, Regine Velasquez, and kids Nate and Leila, traveled to Hong Kong last September 15.

Ogie Alcasid is a singer and composer in the Philippines. He is married to Regine Velasquez. They have a son, Nate. Ogie and Regine's marriage is one of the strongest in PH showbiz.

Ogie took to IG and sought the help of many to report a scammer using his name. He said that he was actually alerted by a number of friends about a post that was using his name. It was an ad for men, to help them with their couple woes. Ogie said that it was not him and that the post needed to be reported.

He also wrote a heartfelt birthday message for Regine Velasquez. In his sweet message, Ogie mentioned his birthday wishes for his lovely wife. The singer-songwriter posted his message along with a reel showing his and Regine’s cozy moments. The Asia’s Song Bird will turn 53 years old on Saturday, April 22.
