James Reid was captured in a video at a Gucci event going to where his ex-girlfriend, Nadine Lustre, was standing and then giving her a quick hug and a kiss.

That video, which was posted on X or Twitter, has since then gone viral, with several netizens giving their own take on what transpired.

At the beginning of the video, one can see several known celebrities like Kylie Versoza, Anne Curtis, and Nadine Lustre, gracing with their presence the recent Gucci event in Greenbelt 4.

One can also see James among the celebrities present.

The video then showed James’ eyes seemingly riveted to where Nadine was standing along with Anne Curtis.

Apparently oblivious to the presence of Anne, the actor squeezed through another person, and then past Anne, to give Nadine a quick hug and a kiss.

Nadine, on seeing James, also extended her arms to hug him and then reciprocated his “beso.”

Netizens who saw the video gave varying reactions, with several recalling the loveteam of the two, while others dismissing the gesture as mere civility.

“Haha sila pala pinagkakagiluhan kanina pagdaan namin. Sayang,” wrote another commenter.

Nadine is now dating a non-showbiz guy named Christophe Bariou.

Recently, Nadine spread "kilig vibes" on social media with her post on Instagram. In that particular post, she shared photos she took with her boyfriend, Christophe Bariou. Both clad in an all-black attire for Vogue's anniversary event, the two looked elegant and chic for the night. Needless to say, this made several of Nadine's fans and followers gush over them.
