Vice Ganda, in the most recent episode of the noontime program, “It’s Showtime,” praised the song “Wala Akong Pake,” as it played during the “Rampanalo” segment of the show.

While she was talking, the show’s DJ played the song and immediately, Vice said “Hindi po yan ang opinion ko. Nakakatuwa…wala akong pake.”

She then praised the song for its timeliness as if throwing a shade at something.

“Ang ganda ng song na yun, very timely,” she added.

That particular portion of the show’s video was then reposted by a netizen on X, along with the caption “Not Vice Ganda wearing pink and then ‘Wala akong pake’ on the background. Timely and relevant!” which included the hashtags #TayoAngShowtime #ItsShowtime #LalaSotto #MTRCB.

As of this posting, the said post on X has already gained 211.9K views, 367 reposts, and more than 3K likes.

Vice Ganda is a famous comedian, actor, endorser, and host in the Philippines. He is best known for hosting “It’s Showtime” and for his commercially successful movies in the MMFF. The superstar is currently in a relationship with Ion Perez. He and Ion got their Certificate of Commitment in a special ceremony in Las Vegas, Nevada on Oct. 19, 2021.

In an interview about the 12-day suspension handed down by the MTRCB to the lunchtime program, "It's Showtime," the former chair of the regulatory body, Atty. Eugenio "Toto" Villareal, shared his thoughts on the issue. The former MTRCB Chair expressed sadness about the turn of events and surmised that the same must be for the decision-makers. He then said that a 12-day suspension can have lots of effects not only for artists but also for the crew. ABS-CBN will be filing a motion for reconsideration on the suspension.
