In an interview with KMJS, Lola explained that Doro has been with them for 30 years.

The carabao was like a child to her, whom she deeply loves.

She narrated that more than her, it was her husband who can be considered as the real best friend of Doro.

When he passed away, he even entrusted Doro to her, saying that she should take care of the animal and not sell it no matter what happens.

However, due to the needs of her children, she agreed to sell the animal for P68K.

During the interview with the KMJS team, she admitted still feeling very sad whenever Doro crosses her mind.

Lola voiced out her fear that her precious carabao might have already been butchered.

She then expressed her desire to see Doro and to check on him whether he’s okay or not.
