Herlene Budol recently treated the viewers of 'It's Showtime' to a fun opening number.

She performed an entertaining dance prod together with the noontime show's very own girl group, Baby Dolls.

During her conversation with the hosts, Herlene enthusiastically greeted the viewers and shouted, "What's up, Madlang People!"

On the other hand, Vice Ganda aired his honest thoughts following Herlene's lively greeting.

“Tignan mo nga naman ang plot twist. Dati ang isinisigaw mo, 'Bigyan ng jacket 'yan!'” Meme Vice expressed.

It can be recalled that Herlene broke through in showbiz through 'Wowowin,' a now-defunct variety show hosted by Willie Revillame, who is also known for his iconic line, "bigyan ng jacket 'yan."

Herlene, also known as 'Hipon Girl', is an actress, comedian, and social media star who broke through in showbiz as a contestant on “Wowowin” and later became a host. Herlene was first runner-up and won several minor awards at the 2022 Binibining Pilipinas pageant. She was also crowned as Miss Philippines Tourism 2023 in the recent Miss Grand Philippines pageant. Herlene plays the lead role in Kapuso afternoon series "Magandang Dilag."

Herlene posted some lovely pictures from her recent birthday photoshoot with photographer Jomar Franche. The said photos were captured in a setting depicting her humble beginnings. Clad in a stunning Leo Almodal gown, the “Magandang Dilag” star also wore her Miss Philippines Tourism 2023 crown.

Earlier, the former manager of the beauty queen, Wilbert Tolentino sent a message to his former talent. He expressed how proud he is of his achievements with Herlene during their time together. The businessman also promised to help Herlene in understanding new contracts and if she needs advice on anything. Finally, he encouraged Herlene to visit his home if she ever needs his help, promising to be her “mima,” guardian angel, and protector forever.
