Former Pinoy Big Brother housemate Karen Bordador has shared her side of the story regarding her unexpected role as the host for K-drama actor Seo In-guk's fan meet, shedding light on the whirlwind experience that led to her on-the-spot hosting gig.

The event, which took place at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City on Saturday, August 12, saw Karen Bordador stepping into the spotlight as the host, following the sudden replacement of original host Kristel Fulgar by the Korean technical director due to a perceived lack of energy.

In her YouTube vlog posted on Wednesday night, Karen recounted the events that unfolded, starting with a text message request for her contact details around 12:30 p.m. Initially brushing off the inquiries, Karen eventually received a call inviting her to host the Seo In-guk fan meet on the very same day.

While surprised by the last-minute request, Karen embraced the challenge with a positive attitude, sharing that she received assurances from her manager and the Korean team that she was up for the task. This marked the second time Karen worked with the Korean team, having previously co-hosted another fan meet for Korean star Park Bom.

Despite the limited preparation time, Karen expressed confidence in her hosting abilities, drawing from her background as a DJ and talk show host. She revealed that she sought permission from the Korean team to deviate from the script at times and even engage in playful banter with Seo In-guk.

Reflecting on the event, Karen conveyed her happiness with the outcome, noting that Seo In-guk was a gracious and welcoming presence throughout. She shared a heartwarming backstage moment where she interacted with the K-drama star, discussing their shared experience and even sharing a hug.

Kristel Fulgar, whose full name is Kristel Aina Oquindo Fulgar, is an actress and singer in the Philippines. She is known for her roles in Goin' Bulilit, Maria Flordeluna, Dahil Sa Pag-ibig, Got to Believe, and Bagito. Kristel has also become a successful vlogger on YouTube.

So I had a chin botox before going to the salon. Just noticed that I got bombarded with comments about my chin! Haha! Don’t worry the swelling has just subsided now"
