Lolit Solis, natawa sa isyung kinasasangkutan ni Arnell Ignacio: “Talagang dami problema”

Lolit Solis, in a recent Instagram post, said she can’t help but laught at the issue involving OWWA administrator Arnell Ignacio, who is also a showbiz personality.

The issue apparently stemmed from the act of Arnell allegedly ignoring the plea for help of an Overseas Filipino Worker or OFW.

OWWA, which Arnell heads, is short for Overseas Workers Welfare Administration, the government agency tasked to assist OFWs and their families in various matters including financial needs.

In a previous post of Manay Lolit, an OFW supposedly complained after the OWWA Administrator allegedly ignored and refused to help her.

This prompted, according to the post of the columnist, some politicians like Rep. Nina Taduran to lend assistance to the said OFW.

Recently, however, the columnist indicated that the issue might have already been resolved, prompting Manay Lolit to post about it once more.

“Natawa na lang ako sa issue ni Arnell Ignacio na ang ending lang pala 10K na hinihingi ng OFW na financial assistance. Naku lalo ng dadami hihingi kay Arnel Ignacio ngayon dahil nabigyan iyon isang nanghingi. Kaloka,” the columnist said in her post.

“Talagang matindi ang paghingi ngayon ng financial assistance. Kaya nga sakit ulo Arnell Ignacio. Lalo pa nga at pag hindi nabigyan nagri reklamo pa. Naku talagang dami problema,” Manay Lolit said.

Arnell Arevalo Ignacio occupies a position in government as OWWA Administrator. He is a showbiz personality who rose to fame as an actor-comedian, game show host, singer-songwriter, and news anchor. Some of the shows he's been into are Chibugan Na!, Kwarta o Kahon, GoBingo, Katok Mga Misis!, at K!

Recently, the columnist once again mentioned Arnell in her online post on social media. On Instagram, the veteran writer talked about the matter between Arnell and an OFW. According to Lolit, she was able to prove that Arnell did allegedly ignore the OFW. In her post, she said, "Bonggang Arnel Ignacio na hindi binibigyan galang ang ibinigay sa kanyang posisyon ha."

Before this, she revealed in a post on Instagram that Arnell Ignacio called her to explain the issue about the OFW who allegedly sought help from him but was supposedly ignored. Arnell, a known Pinoy showbiz personality, is the current OWWA administrator, the agency in charge of welfare programs and services for member OFWs and their families. According to Lolit, Arnell is worried the issue might call the attention of “higher-ups” in the government and view him as unfit for his position at OWWA. The veteran showbiz columnist, however, said that she doesn’t know whom to believe, particularly so that she learned the said OFW was already approved for financial assistance.
