Sandra Bullock’s longtime partner, Bryan Randall, has died at the age of 57, his family announced.

In a report by USA Today, Randall passed away on August 5 after a three-year battle with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
His bereaved family released a statement saying, “It is with great sadness that we share that on Aug. 5, Bryan Randall passed away peacefully after a three-year battle with ALS.”
“Bryan chose early to keep his journey with ALS private and those of us who cared for him did our best to honor his request. We are immensely grateful to the tireless doctors who navigated the landscape of this illness with us and to the astounding nurses who became our roommates, often sacrificing their own families to be with ours.”

As per Mayo Clinic, ALS is a “nervous system disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord.” It causes loss of muscle control and gets worse over time.
People Magazine also reported that the bereaved family asked for privacy “to grieve and to come to terms with the impossibility of saying goodbye to Bryan.”
According Yahoo Entertainment News, Bullock met Randall, a model-turned-photographer, when he photographed her son Louis’s birthday in January 2015. They started dating shortly after, but the 59-year-old actress purposefully kept their relationship out of the spotlight.
Sandra Bullock, born on July 26, 1964, is an American actress and producer who has received numerous awards and nominations, including an Academy Award and a Golden Globe Award. Sandra was also the world's highest-paid actress in 2010 and 2014.
Aside from Bryan Randall, there were other celebrities who died recently.
American actor Angus Cloud has passed away at the age of 25. Cloud died on Monday at his family home in Oakland, California, his family said in a statement.
Last July, Lee San Eun, a South Korean soprano singer, died at the age of 46. The well-known singer was found dead on July 6 in a girls’ comfort room right before her performance.
