Ogie Diaz, may hugot sa socmed: “Wag kang magbabayad ng magpe-press release para pabanguhin ang pangalan mo”

Ogie Diaz recently unleashed a hugot on Instagram Stories where he talked about someone doing everything to take care of his or her job.

He then called out that person, whom he didn’t name, not to pay for a press release just so his name would smell sweet.

“Pag pinagkatiwalaan ka ng trabaho, sipagan mo, mahalin mo at pahalagahan mo. Wag ka pala-absent,” Ogie wrote in his post on IG Stories.

“Wag kang magbabayad ng magpe-press release para pabanguhin ang pangalan mo porke matagal ka na diyan,” he added.

He then told the said person not to fool himself or herself as she or he is actually lazy in real life.

“Uy, wag mong lokohin ang sarili mo. Tamad ka sa totoong buhay. At wag ka pala-angkin ng project na hindi naman ikaw ang nagsimula,” the showbiz reporter said.

Ogie then wondered why the said person would be insecure when he or she already occupies a lofty position.

“Mas mataas ang posisyon mo tapos ikaw pa talaga ang naiinsekyur sa mga paani pa lang ng tagumpay? Baket, ikaw lang ba ang anak ng Diyos?” he wrote.

“Uy, kahit gaano karami pera mo kung wala kang contentment, para saan yung yaman mo na hindi naman iyo?” The talent manager added.

Near the end of his post, Ogie appeared to clarify that he wasn’t referring to anyone in particular, though if he or she feels he or she is being alluded to, then perhaps he or she is guilty.

“Kung hindi ikaw ito, wala kang dapat alalahanin. Pero kung ike-claim mo na naman na ikaw itong pinariringgan ko, guilty ka beyond reasonable doubt. Magpakabait ka. Wag yung nagbabait-baitan lang,” Ogie wrote in his post.

Ogie Diaz is an actor, comedian, entertainment reporter, and talent manager. He was known as “Pekto” in the popular TV sitcom, “Palibhasa Lalaki.” He is also behind the YouTube channel “Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update.” He became a successful talent manager and once handled the careers of Vice Ganda and Liza Soberano.

The showbiz reporter and talent manager then detailed what happened when he bought a ticket online. Mama Ogs, however, did not name the booking agency or the airline company, which he said would sometimes have delayed or canceled flights.
