Cristy Fermin, in the most recent episode of “Cristy Ferminute,” belied rumors circulating online about the alleged vaping of Kathryn Bernardo.

Talks about the actress vaping swirled after an alleged video of her doing it surfaced online.

The veteran columnist said she’s been following the journey of Kathryn ever since she was a child star until she became a bankable actress and Nay Cristy said rumors about her smoking or vaping is not true.

“Agad-agad ibinalita na nagyoyosi daw si Kathryn… Nasubaybayan ko po ang kabataan ng batang ito mula nu’ng malinggetong pa s’ya… Malinggetong ha, hanggang ngayon. Never po, never. Hindi po s’ya nagsisigarilyo,” Nay Cristy said.

She said rumors about the actress drinking occasionally might have a semblance of truth but never smoking.

“’Yong ano lang, painum-inom kapag merong okasyon. Umiinom naman s’ya. Pero never ko s’ya nakita o ninuman na nagyoyosi,” the veteran showbiz columnist said.

“One time, totoo ’yon, sa sobrang pag-inom nakalimutan n’ya ang bag n’ya kung saan n’ya inilagay. Hahaha! Hanap s’ya nang hanap. Pero ’yong pagyoyosi? Malayo sa katotohanan,” she added.

She then explained that if ever someone did take a footage of her holding a vape, it might be part of the character she’s portraying in a film.

“Sana nahihiwalay po natin ’yong trabaho sa pagkatao. Role po n’ya ’yon na nagbi-vape s’ya. Ganu’n, gumagamit s’ya ng vape dahil sa role n’ya. Hindi po s’ya nagyoyosi. Never! Naku si Kathryn pa,” Nay Cristy concluded.

Recently, Min Bernardo, the mom of the actress, took to Twitter and apologized to her daughter. The mom told Kath that she was sorry because the latter has been exhausted for days due to work. Min then said that while she may not be physically present, she keeps tabs on her daughter through the latter's PA. The mom then assured Kath that they were already more than halfway through the movie and prayed for a good outcome of the movie.
