Angelica Panganiban, in an interview that Star Magic recently published, humorously reminisced about the time she has to literally jump over the wall of ABS-CBN compound so she could be inside its premises for an audition.

The versatile actress recalled that at the time, they were still outside the gate when the cut-off time of 4 p.m. was announced, meaning they wouldn’t be permitted to enter anymore.

“Kasi inabot namin yung cut-off like parang sasabihin natin parang 4 p.m. na hindi na nila papasukin ‘yung nasa dulo ng pila,” Angge said.

She then said they have been lining up for the audition since early dawn that morning and she wouldn’t just accept they won’t be able to have an audition that day.

“Pero siyempre kami na madaling araw pa lang pumila na parang hindi namin matanggap na hindi kami makakapasok, hindi ba”

Angge then said that the parents who were with them lifted them up so they would be able to climb up and go over the wall so they could have their audition.

The actress also humorously recalled crying hard because she couldn’t see her mom.

“So ‘yung mga parents binuhat kami, inakyat kami ng bakod para makapag-audition pa rin kami. Iyak ako nang iyak kasi nawawala ang mama ko parang ‘nasaan ako?” Angelica recalled.

Angelica was able to have her audition for ‘Ang TV’, which helped her rise to fame and attain her star status.

Angelica, more popularly known as Angelica Panganiban, is a Pinay actress with an American lineage. She started acting at the age of 6 and first appeared in the TV series, "Love Note."
