Kris Aquino made headlines last night after announcing her breakup with Batangas Vice Governor Mark Leviste. After the breakup was announced, Leviste took to Instagram to share a Bible quote about true love.

The quote, taken from the first letter of Paul to the Corinthians, says that true love is both patient and kind.

The quote also describes love as something that does not envy, boast, keep record of mistakes, delights in evil, and dishonor. It is also not proud, self-seeking, and easily angered.

In contrary, love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things, according to the quote.

Kris revealed that she broke up with Mark due to the difficulty of maintaining a long-distance relationship and also due to her worsening health condition.

According to Kris, who is in the US due to her health woes, she wants Mark to focus his attention on fulfilling his duties as a politician.

As for her health, Kris admitted that her symptoms have gotten worse due to Churg Strauss, Crest Syndrome, rheumatoid arthritis, and systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).

Despite their breakup, Kris is grateful that Mark was a boyfriend who gave her more love and encouragement than her former partners. She also praised him for also being a reliable and trustworthy friend and confidante.
