Sabrina M, a known sultry star during the 90s era, recently revealed in a press conference that she and the late Rico Yan had a secret romantic relationship before.

The actress made the explosive revelation during the press conference of her new movie “Manang” today, Thursday, July 6.

During the interview, a voice, presumably a member of the press, asked if her life story will be made into a movie, would it include Rico, to which she readily answered: “sure.”

“Sab, meaning umamin ka na noon about kay Rico?” the same voice asked, to which she replied: “hindi po.”

“About nung kay Rico Yan, oo bata pa kami nyan, ang image niya kasi is wholesome eh. Ako nagpapas3xy ako nuon sa pelikula. So kung nagkaissue kaming dalawa, maraming masasabi sa akin. So better kung ano man yung nagkaroon kami ng relasyon, itinago na lang namin yun,” she revealed.

“Ito po yung first time na umamin ako,” the actress added.

“Totoong inaway ka ni Claudine? Sinugod ka ni Claudine?” another voice, presumably of a different reporter asked, referring to Rico’s on-screen and off-screen girlfriend.

“Hindi po,” Sabrina answered. When asked if their relationship is deep, she answered in the positive.

“Napakabait ni Rico Yan. After Claudine, naging kami ni Rico Yan. Matagal kaming nagkarelasyon. Taon. Noong nag-uumpisa na yung tsismis sa akin, dinudurog na agad ako. Rico Yan yan eh. Bakit siya pumatol sa isang sultry star. Bakit siya pumatol sa isang hubadera,” the actress also said.

“Pero believe ako kay Rico dahil hindi siya mapanghusga. Pinagtatanggol pa niya sa ibang tao. Sinasabi niya kilala ko si Sabrina M, kaya huwag ninyo siyang i-judge,” Sabrina said.

Claudine is a well-known Filipina actress who is known for her dramatic skills. She married Raymart Santiago in 2006, but they separated in 2013. Sabina, Santino, Quia, and Noah are the actress' four children.

In April of this year, Claudine visited the tomb of her late ex-boyfriend, actor Rico Yan, last Easter Sunday. Rico’s sister Tina Marie Yan reacted to Claudine’s visit to her brother’s tomb. She thanked Claudine for her gesture, expressed her love for the actress and her excitement about seeing her again in September. According to Tina, it means the world to her that Claudine will spend time with her soon.

Claudine also took to social media to share a video and photos of the said visit. As per Claudine's caption, she stopped by the grave last Easter Sunday. Many netizens then reacted positively to Claudine’s touching online post.
