Billy Crawford had an insightful interview about his personal life on the GMA show “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda. Boy Abunda asked Billy to react to the rumors that he used to be a drug addict.

The music artist completely denied the rumor, saying that he has never tried taking illegal drugs. He added that if he became addicted to drugs, he is sure to have been imprisoned already.

“No, never… Kung addict ako, sa totoo lang, e, di sana, nasa kulungan ako. Honestly,” Billy shared.

Furthermore, Billy said that he came close in the past to trying illegal drugs but he believes that God always made a way to prevent that from happening.

“I have an addictive personality and laging nandiyan ang Panginoon para sagipin ako.

"Because every time that there’s an opportunity to try drugs, in a snap of a finger, palaging meron na, 'Halika nga dito, Billy, Punta nga tayo dito. Alis tayo dito.‘ May nare-raid, may nakukulong. So, nililihis ako ng Panginoon sa masasamang bisyo, and I’m thankful for that,” the singer explained.

However, Billy admitted that he used to be an alcoholic but he has been sober for a while now which led to him losing weight and becoming healthier.

“Kaya nga aminado akong alcoholic ako. Pumapasok ako sa trabaho before na lasing ako. It was alarming before,” he shared.

Billy Crawford is a singer, actor, and television host in the Philippines. He tied the knot with actress Coleen Garcia. Coleen gave birth to Baby Boy Amari on September 10.

In other news, ‘Tropang LOL’ aired its last episode on April 29. The hosts of the show became emotional while saying farewell to each other and the audience. Billy Crawford explained that he was teary-eyed out of happiness and not sadness. Furthermore, Billy was in tears because he will miss working with his Tropang Lol family.

Previously, Billy, in a social media post, revealed how he and wife Coleen Garcia started dating. The actor, TV host, and singer made the revelation recently through a short social media post where he greeted his wife on their anniversary. The couple tied the knot five years ago, more specifically on April 20, 2018 in the posh Balesin island resort. They are blessed with a son whom they named Amari who was born in September of 2020 through a water birth.
