Ellen Adarna has answered the question of a netizen who complained about the entrance fee being charged to those who wanted to go inside ‘Temple of Leah’.
The famous tourist destination is a popular place that is being frequented by tourists and locals alike.
The temple was built by Ellen’s grandfather, Teodorico Soriano Adarna, to honor the memory of her grandmother, Leah Albino-Adarna.
“Bakit masyadong mahal ang entrance sa ‘Temple of Leah’ at nahihirapan na rin ang mga guide,” the netizen asked through Ellen’s Q&A session on Instagram.

In her answer, Ellen gave a brief history of the temple and its original intention.
“The story about the Temple Day was that it was not built to be a tourist spot,” Ellen said in the beginning of her answer.
“It was built to be a storage for my grandmother's things,” she added.
However, as Ellen narrated, it was soon frequented by people because of its nice view and the structure itself.
It was during that time that her family decided to just make it a business because a lot of people have started visiting the place.
“But then since the view is nice and I guess of the structure, people started going,” the actress said.

“So the family decided to make it a business na lang because maraming taong pumupunta dun na di naman sana yun tourist spot,” she further said.
Eventually, the family decided to make some additions to the place, which costs the family a lot of money, indicating the reason for the increase in entrance fees.
“So ganun yun ngayon, expand na lang, pero malaki did ang gastos, kung alam mo lang,” she told the netizen.
In the end, Ellen said that if the netizen find the entrance fee exorbitant, they can skip the place in their itinerary.
“So kung nagrereklamo ka, wag ka na lang pumunta. Ganun na lang,” Ellen said.
