Jake Zyrus took to Instagram Stories and wrote a message to his followers amid his social media hiatus.

In his IG story, Jake shared a post from @motivatedkulture addressed to creatives who haven't created anything new in a while to focus on their mental health.

"To the creatives that haven't created anything new in a while bc you've been working on your mental health: I still see you, I'm still proud of you & I can't wait to see your next project. Your pace is the perfect pace for you, no rush!" the post reads.

In his on-screen caption, the singer informed his followers that he is doing well.

"Just checking in with everyone. hope you're all good. I'm doing well."

He also said he is proud of those joining him in taking a break.

"For those who also decided to take a break to focus on their mental health, I'm really proud of y'all. It's not easy but we are doing it."

Likewise, Jake expressed, "Thanks for being so patient. Can't wait to perform for y'all again and make more music. See you guys soon."

Furthermore, Jake penned a kind reminder about social media.

"Use social media responsibly and in moderation."

"Love you guys," he added.

Jake is a well-known singer and songwriter in the Philippines. He was previously known as Charice Pempengco, the girl who made international TV appearances because of her singing prowess. His gender transition became a subject of public interest.
