Buboy Villar has finally admitted that the contestant who became controversial in one of the segments of "Eat Bulaga."

In the contest, "Ikaw ang Pinaka," many netizens noticed that one of the contestants was a friend of Buboy because they had seen photos of him and the contestant online.

Bandera reported that Buboy admitted that it was indeed his friend, but that he actually did not know that he was going to watch the show.

He admitted though that he was very happy that his friend was there, whom he described as someone very supportive of him, and that he got chosen by the hosts.

"Sa kabila ng mga taong nagsasabi ng masasakit na salita sa akin although okay lang naman po sa akin yun, tumatanggap naman po ako kasi opinyon ‘yun, e, sumuporta itong kaibigan ko na ‘yun."

"At sobrang saya ko dahil nandoon siya no, nakita ko siya, at napili siya ng mga co-hosts ko rin so the show must go on, pinaglaro siya. Lahat naman po puwedeng manalo e, sabi nga po namin sharing is caring and caring is winning."

In GMA's report, Buboy admitted that the game was scripted but they don't know anything about the contestants.

Buboy also revealed that he and Jose Manalo actually talked prior to his involvement in "Eat Bulaga," reported Abante.

Buboy is an actor and a father of two kids with his former partner Angillyn Gorens. Buboy has appeared in several movies and TV projects such as Kid Kulafu, Ang Panday, Darna, and Inday Will Always Love You.

Buboy Villar proudly shared with his social media followers his new car, an SUV, which he just bought. According to Buboy, he did have an old car but it already has a lot of mechanical problems. He also said that his kids are already growing bigger and he thought it is time to replace his old vehicle. The new host of “Eat Bulaga” said that the new SUV he bought is a replacement for his old car.

Recently, Buboy appeared as one of the hosts of the longest-running noontime show on earth, a few days after the departure of TVJ.
