Sharon Cuneta has stirred buzz on social media after posting an old interview of Alden Richards on her Instagram page.

On Friday, June 23, KAMI learned that the one and only 'Megastar' gushed over Alden's old interview back in 2019.

In the viral video, Alden revealed his desire to be able to work with Sharon, especially since he's seen a lot of her films.

"Parang ang sarap po niya maging nanay sa isang project," Alden said at one point. Now, both the two artists are working on a film together.

On Instagram, Sharon wrote, "Alden said this in 2019! Ngayon ko lang nga nakita ito nung sinend niya sa akin. It has been a long time since I did a movie like ours (A Mother & Son’s Story) - simple and straightforward, funny and touching, and just all-around feel-good! And it has been some time since I last “fell in love” with a co-star in a movie."

According to Sharon, she and Alden were amazed at how much they both had in common.

"@aldenrichards02 and I talked lengthily for the first time only when we did workshops for this new project, and were both amazed at how much we had in common that I might as well have given birth to him! We are now so bonded, and my three younger children now have a Kuya! In our scenes together, it is so very easy to call up emotions because he truly is like my own son," she revealed.

Halfway through her post, Sharon said she loves Alden "truly and sincerely" and is still in shock over how similar they are.

"I love Alden so truly and sincerely and still cannot believe how very similar we are! ❤️❤️❤️ We are a bit sorry that you might get to watch our movie in December pa - but we feel that December would be the perfect time to show you our little gift - the Christmas season being a time for family and love!" she wrote.

Sharon Cuneta, commonly known as the 'Megastar' in the local showbiz industry, is a prominent veteran celebrity in the Philippines. She is also the mother of KC Concepcion, her daughter with fellow actor Gabby Concepcion. In 1996, she tied the knot with Kiko Pangilinan.

As previously reported by KAMI, Sharon Cuneta did not mince her words in responding to one of her bashers on social media. Sharon recently posted a photo of Coco Martin and Julia Montes on her Instagram page. However, one of her bashers called the Megastar a "sipsip" in the comments section of her post.

Meanwhile, Sharon Cuneta recently posted some new 'OOTD' photos on her official Instagram page. Her fans, and even local celebrities, were stunned to see the actress's gorgeous look. In the pictures, Sharon wore a black, tight-fitting dress that hugged all her curves. Kiko Pangilinan, her husband, even left a sweet yet funny comment about his wife's OOTD.
