Vhong Navarro, Ogie Alcasid, nag-react sa transfer ng "Showtime": "Nakakatuwa na meron na kaming bagong bahay"

Ogie Alcasid and Vhong Navarro, hosts of "It's Showtime" reacted to the transfer of the show to GMA's GTV.

They were interviewed by ABS-CBN regarding the said transfer.

"Siyempre masaya dahil meron ding nagpatuloy sa amin na bagong tahanan. Para maipagpatuloy namin kung ano ang nasimulan namin 13 years ago. Para mapasaya pa rin ang madlang people. Sobrang excited kami na ipakita pa at pasayahin pa ang ating madlang people," said Vhong.

Ogie then expressed his own take on things.

"Bottomline dapat, yung madlang people na dapat natin pasayahin lagi. So 'tong mga panahon na nag-aalinlangan tayo, di natin alam kung saan tayo pupunta, nakakatuwa na meron na kaming bagong bahay."

Vhong is a Filipino comedian, actor, dancer, singer, judge, and TV host of ABS-CBN Entertainment Groups. He was part of the dance group Streetboys in the Philippines. He is one of the pioneer hosts of the noontime variety show, "It's Showtime." He was recently acquitted from a case filed by Deniece Cornejo.

"It's Showtime" is set to air on GMA’s free television channel, GTV, starting July 1. ABS-CBN and GTV took to their online platforms to share the good news. Vice Ganda, Anne Curtis, Vhong Navarro, Kim Chiu and their co-hosts then reacted to the announcement. They expressed delight over their noontime program's new home.
