It was a re-enactment of the iconic and viral anti-piracy video of Derek, where he delivered the lines, "Pare, pulis ako."

The said video has actually been made into a meme, which many find amusing.

In the promotional video for "Extraction 2," Derek also played the role of a policeman who was running after a criminal.

He chased the suspect from the parking lot of a building up to the rooms.

However, in one of the rooms, Chris was already there and apprehended the suspect.

“Pulis ako,” Derek told the international actor.

Thereafter, they give each other a fist bump.
