Jaime Fabregas found himself at the center of a false rumor circulating on social media claiming that he had passed away.

He took to Instagram to set the record straight and put an end to the baseless rumor.

Through the video he posted, he boldly refuted the false claims, stating that he is very much alive.

He also called out the people who posted these claims on social media.

In addition, Jaime urged them to take responsibility for their actions and promptly delete their misguided posts.

"Doon po sa mga nag post, sana burahin niyo na. Lahat naman tayo ay mamamatay. Hantayin po nating mangyari. Pati po kayong nagpost, mamamatay din kayo. Pero salamat na rin. May nagsabi na lalo daw hahaba ang buhay ko," he wrote.

Jaime Fabregas, or Jaime Francisco García Fábregas in real life, is a Pinoy actor and musical scorer. He was born on February 28, 1950 in Iriga City, Camarines Sur. He began his acting career in theatre before he entered show business. Aside from acting, Jaime is also a musical scorer, and was able to win awards for his works in films like Shake, Rattle & Roll. He is also known for his role as Lt. General Delfin Borja in Ang Probinsyano.

The veteran actor said that he wanted to do this for a very long time, but it was only now that he was able to do so. Earlier, Jaime’s viral statement about ROTC more than a month ago earned a reaction from RR Enriquez, who initially agreed with the veteran actor’s statement, though added that loving one’s country is “not enough.” In his statement about ROTC, Jaime said that people should teach their children to love their country and that there is no need for parents to send their children to ROTC.
