Rita Daniela, inaming hiwalay na sa kanyang non-showbiz partner: “definitely painful 'yon”

- During her guesting on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” Rita confirmed that she and the father of her child have decided to part ways

- The actress-singer also clarified that she and her ex-partner are still good friends

- She likewise said that the two of them are trying their best to co-parent Baby Uno

Rita Daniela was the guest on Thursday’s episode of Boy Abunda’s show, “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.”

One of the questions Tito Boy asked of the actress-singer was about the speculations that she and her non-showbiz partner have broken up.

The celebrity mom then confirmed the speculations but clarified that she and her ex-partner are still good friends.

"Yes, Tito Boy, naghiwalay na po kami nu'ng tatay ni Uno. We really tried out best just like everybody else, but it didn't work out. Pero ang maganda diyan, Tito Boy, kasi we're good friends e, very very good.”

Rita also shared that they are co-parenting their son named Juan Andres or Baby Uno.

“And were doing our very best to co-parent Uno. And I'm actually proud of ourselves, kaming dalawa, kasi hangga't maaga, inaayos na namin siya para pag lumaki na si Uno, peaceful na kami and we can still be a family na wala na pong mga issue sa both sides.”

Furthermore, Rita admitted that the time they decided to part ways was painful for her.

“Matagal din kami together, like almost 4 years together. We really tried our best. But now, I'm happy kasi klaro naman 'yon sa aming dalawa na ito 'yung papel namin sa buhay ni Uno. But of course, yes, definitely painful 'yon, Tito Boy, sa akin nu'ng time na 'yon.”

Rita Daniela, born Rita Daniela De Guzman Iringan, is a Filipina singer, actress, and television host. She started her career after being the first grand champion of QTV’s 'PopStar Kids' and became more popular after portraying Aubrey Palomares in 'My Special Tatay'.

Rita Daniela revealed on social media that she gave birth to her baby boy last December 22. The newborn baby boy’s name is Juan Andres and his nickname is Uno. On Instagram, Rita uploaded a heartwarming photo of her carrying the baby. She also penned a heartwarming Christmas message for her son.

Meanwhile, back in September, Rita marked her birthday and turned 27 years old. She took to social media to share lovely photos of herself and wrote in the caption, "27th." In the snapshots, the Kapuso star also flaunted her 24-week baby bump. She likewise said that “2 of her babies” – the baby in her womb and her pet dog – were shown in the snaps she shared.
