"Nung mga panahong na hindi sumusuweldo ng tapat at maayos itong si Jose Manalo, iyun po yung panahon na nagkasakit at pumanaw ang kanyang ina at pumanaw din ang kanyang kapatid," Nay Cristy noted.
"Kapag walang Jose at Wally, maputla, maputla ang Tito, Vic, and Joey. Kailangan nandun din silang dalawa," she said.
Cristy also said that they were only able to have an idea of the delays when they noticed that Wally would always have gigs at Klownz and Zirko.
"Eat Bulaga" is the longest-running noontime variety program on Philippine television. The show premiered on July 30, 1979. Its pioneer hosts include showbiz icons Vic Sotto, Joey de Leon, and Tito Sotto.
Joey de Leon's new post about 'Eat Bulaga' is making the rounds on social media. He shared an old clip showing him, Tito Sotto and Vic Sotto. In the clip, Tito acknowledged Vic as the composer of the show's theme song and Joey as the one who came up with the title.
Luis Manzano shared a new joke about the pioneer hosts of “Eat Bulaga.” He quipped that aside from Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto and Joey de Leon, there were other two original hosts of the show. The Kapamilya host’s post jokingly implied that John Cena and Anne Curtis were the other two hosts. Luis also hilariously stressed that the wrestler and the actress were mentioned in the program’s iconic theme song.
