Cristy Fermin and Romel Chika discussed the situation of the original hosts of "Eat Bulaga," at the time that their salaries were delayed.

"Nung mga panahong na hindi sumusuweldo ng tapat at maayos itong si Jose Manalo, iyun po yung panahon na nagkasakit at pumanaw ang kanyang ina at pumanaw din ang kanyang kapatid," Nay Cristy noted.
"Kapag walang Jose at Wally, maputla, maputla ang Tito, Vic, and Joey. Kailangan nandun din silang dalawa," she said.
Cristy also said that they were only able to have an idea of the delays when they noticed that Wally would always have gigs at Klownz and Zirko.
