The veteran showbiz columnist also commended Richard for his insights, which Manay Lolit said is always on point and beautiful.

“Ang ganda ng mga insights ni Richard Gomez na talagang kapupulutan mo ng inspiration,” Manay Lolit said.

She also said that the success story of the actor-turned-politician is a good example for all, saying his personal and professional achievements did not change him a bit, that he’s still very approachable and generous.

“Hangga ngayon hindi binago ng success si Richard, ganuon parin siya. Approachable st very giving. Kaya naman marami ang nagdarasal na patuloy siya magtagumpay,” the veteran columnist said.

Manay Lolit also noted the wonderful team up that Richard has with his wife, Lucy Torres, adding that the two are truly connected to each other.

“Dahil karapat dapat siyang tularan. Maganda ang team nila ni Lucy Torres na talagang connected sa isa't isa ang bawat dream sa buhay. Successful ang kanilang pagsasama kaya naman proud ba proud sa kanila si Julianna ang nag iisa nilang anak,” she said.

Patuloy niyang ipinapakita na kahit sa showbiz ka galing magiging isa ka parin brilliant politician dahil meron kang talino at husay. Bongga,” Manay Lolit said.

Richard is one of the most popular Filipino actors of his generation. He is also a director, television presenter, athlete, and politician. Since 2016, he has been serving Ormoc City as its mayor.

A couple of months ago, a video of Richard and his daughter Juliana fencing together has gone viral. The video was shared by Gretchen Ho, when she interviewed the amazing father-daughter tandem. As per the post of Gretchen, an opportunity to spar is a way for Juliana to learn from her father. Gretchen revealed that Richard is tough whenever he would watch the matches of Juliana.
