Ogie Diaz took to IG Stories and posted a lengthy message, directed towards a host, which he did not name.

He said that if the host must not be too dependent on using the telempropter because he or she must have researched the subject that will be discussed in the show.

"Pag host ka, wag ka masyadong dependent sa teleprompter. Dapat, alam mo at na-research mo ang subject mo o yung isyung pinag-uusapan."

Ogie also noted that the host is the captain of the ship, one who would carry the show, assist the guests and even go into the details of the conversation up to the end.

"Ikaw ang captain of the ship, ikaw ang inaasahang magdadala ng show, ikaw ang aakay sa guests, ikaw ang hihimay ng mga isyung pinag-uusapan hanggang sa maitawid mo hanggang dulo."

He also emphasized that not all of the audience would understand that a host is encountering birth pains in terms of hosting.

"Sa umpisa, maiintindihan mo, nanganganay. Pero hindi naman lahat ng viewers mo, makakaintindi na nanganganay ka eh. Anyway, matagal ka na sa hosting, kaya mo yan. Wala kang di kakayanin."
