Vic Sotto, in an ambush interview, declined to answer or provide any comment to the question if he wanted the noontime show “Eat Bulaga” to stay with GMA Network.

Earlier, media personnel chanced upon Vic in what looked like a formal event and so proceeded to ask the TV host some questions.

It was during this time that Vic confirmed TAPE, Inc already paid him the talent fee allegedly owed him by the production outfit.

He did not offer any information, however, as to when did this happen and how much he received.

When asked about “Eat Bulaga” and the hosts, Vic said that whatever happens, they would all be together.

“Kahit ano namang mangyari, sama-sama kami eh,” Vic said.

A media personnel then asked if he’s comfortable with GMA despite his having shows with other network, the TV host answered in the affirmative.

At this point, another member of the press asked him if he wanted “Eat Bulaga” to remain with GMA, and this time, he declined to answer

“No comment pa rin,” Vic said.

“Eat Bulaga” is the longest-running noontime show in the country that airs on the GMA network. The show is a blocktimer and is produced by the Television And Production Exponents, Inc or TAPE, Inc, which is primarily owned by Tony Tuviera and former Cong. Romeo Jalosjos. The main hosts are Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon. Its other hosts are Jose Manalo, Allan K ., Wally Bayola, Paolo Ballesteros, Pauleen Luna, Ryan Agoncillo, Ryzza Mae Dizon, Maine Mendoza, Maja Salvador, Miles Ocampo, Ruru Madrid, Bianca Umali and Carren Eistrup.

In the same ambush interview, Vic confirmed that TAPE, Inc has already paid him the amount that the production entity allegedly owed the TV host and actor. TAPE is short for Television And Production Exponents, and is the company that produces “Eat Bulaga.” Earlier, former Sen. Tito Sotto, the brother of Vic and one of the main hosts of the noontime show, revealed that TAPE still owes Vic and Joey de Leon 30 million each as their talent fee spanning several years as hosts of the program. The revelation came amidst the rumored rift between the main hosts of “Eat Bulaga” and the Jalosjos family.
