Maxene Magalona shared that she was interviewed on the ABS-CBN show ‘Magandang Buhay’ with Janine Berdin and Xyriel Manabat to talk about tattoos and piercings.

According to Maxene, it is wrong to mislabel those with tattoos and piercings as bad, weird, and irresponsible people. She explained that tattoos and piercings are forms of self-expression in a deep and wholehearted way.

However, she warned people not to get tattoos or piercings just to imitate their friends and due to peer pressure. Maxene believes that tattoos and piercings should be meaningful and authentic to the person getting them.

“I was invited to be a guest on @_magandangbuhay together with @janineberdin and @xyrielmanabat_ to talk about our tattoos and piercings as a form of self-expression. I really believe that they are beautiful works of art that help you express your authentic voice. People with tattoos and piercings are mislabeled as bad, weird or irresponsible.

“I’m here to share that I believe that people who get tattoos and piercings are brave and courageous souls who wish to express themselves deeply and wholeheartedly. There is absolutely nothing wrong with getting them. Just don’t get them for the wrong reasons like copying your friends. It’s very important to know yourself on a deeper level and make sure that what you’re getting is meaningful and authentic to you.

Maxene Magalona is an actress and social media star in the Philippines. Her father is the late rap legend Francis Magalona. The actress revealed in May 2020 that she has been seeing a psychiatrist due to her mental illness. She used to be married to Rob Manquil but they have already broken up and have gone separate ways. However, it is not yet known as of this writing if they have new partners already.

In a previous report, Maxene uploaded a couple of photos of a beach along with a noteworthy caption about being scared. The daughter of the late Francis Magalona likewise greeted netizens, “Happy Fearless Friday.” Her post then garnered pleasing comments from her followers.

Earlier, Maxene also looked back on her deep friendship with Glaiza de Castro. On Instagram, the Kapamilya actress uploaded several photos from Glaiza's bridal shower. According to Maxene, the two of them became close ever since they worked together in "Kung Aagawin Mo Ang Lahat Sa Akin." Halfway through her viral post, Maxene said she cannot wait to see Glaiza "rock down the aisle" on her wedding day.
