Paolo Contis on LJ Reyes: “I’m trying to contact her through her lawyer”

Paolo Contis was directly asked by GMA reporter Nelson Canlas on the news program “24 Oras” why he and LJ Reyes broke up years ago.

The actor refused to give a detailed response, saying that the question is too personal. However, he pointed out that he has already admitted to making mistakes during his relationship with LJ and that people do not know the whole story behind their breakup.

“Para sa akin, I think it’s too personal. Maraming factors kung bakit napunta doon sa state ng naghiwalay kami. But I admit that I have made mistakes. Marami pang hindi alam ang tao about the whole picture,” Paolo said.

When asked if he had talked to Summer — his daughter with LJ — since the breakup, Paolo replied in the negative. Nonetheless, he is waiting for the go signal to communicate again with Summer as he tries to contact LJ through the latter’s lawyer. LJ and Summer, along with the actress’ son from a previous relationship, went to the US after the split with Paolo.

“No. But I’m waiting for the right time and the go signal that I can. But I am trying. I am trying to contact her through her lawyer,” Paolo shared.

Paolo said that he promised when his father died that he would take care of his mother, but for him, he failed in that aspect.
