According to Melissa, brèastfeeding actually has the opposite effect on her, making her gain weight more.

"Good morning to all the mommas out there! If you guys are having a hard time like me, sabi nila kasi, if you're brèastfeeding, mabilis kang pumayat. Well for me, that's not so true, I'm actually gaining more weight with brèastfeeding cause I'm always hungry. But I'm taking it slowly, day by day," she said in the video.

Meanwhile, in the caption of her viral post, Melissa admitted that she is not worried about her weight gain right now since she is focusing on her baby.

"Anyone else like me? Anyways, I'm not worried about it right now since my baby is my priority," she wrote.
