Geneva Cruz, in an interview with Pinoy MD and published by GMA News on Facebook, revealed that she would always have bashers or critics of her body, especially when she wears revealing swimwear.

The singer and actress said that people would always ask her why she still uses such kind of swimwear when she is already in her 40s.

Her bashers would say that such is shameful and inappropriate.

"Tinatanong nila ako kung bakit ako nag-swimwear ng ganun kahit nasa 40s na ‘ko. Nakakahiya at ang sagwa raw."

Geneva further highlighted that the stretch marks and loose skin are just normal at her age.

She also noted that it does not follow that because they are celebrities, they would also be perfect.

Recently, as per SmartParenting, Geneva met with her ex-boyfriend, Paco Arespacochaga, and shared the video of their meeting on Instagram.

In a Manila Bulletin report, she also shared what her life in the U.S. was like, being a single mom.

Geneva Cruz is one of the members of the famous showbiz Cruz clan. She is a cousin of Sunshine Cruz, Donna Cruz and Sheryl Cruz. She was also a member of the famous group the Smokey Mountain that was formed by Ryan Cayabyab.

Previously, she has also responded to a netizen who commented “trying hard” in the comments section of the singer’s dance video. She told the netizen that the latter seems to be the one trying too hard. Additionally, Geneva advised the netizen to learn how to support her fellow women. She bravely told her haters to try being kind and to let go of their bitterness. The actress-singer wrote that being bitter and bullying others is never attractive. Likewise, she advised her trolls to try being happy for others so that happiness would also come to them.
