Ogie Diaz has defended his former talent Liza Soberano from her bashers, who have criticized her statement about love teams in the Philippines.
In his latest 'Showbiz Update' vlog on YouTube, KAMI learned that Ogie and Loi Villarama discussed Bea Alonzo's interview with Liza.
Previously, Liza stunned netizens when she revealed that the movie Hello, Love Goodbye was first offered to her and Enrique Gil.
Loi recalled Liza's answer in the viral video and recounted it to the talent manager during their discussion.

Loi asked.
Upon hearing this, Ogie defended Liza and said the two statements came from different times.
"In fairness to Liza, magkaiba yun, Loi. Strike when the iron is hot. Sasamantalahin nila yung lakas nung kanilang love team," he explained.

Previously, a netizen accused Ogie of setting a 40% commission rate for his talents. This was debunked by the talent manager himself, who said he only sets 20% as his commission rate.
Meanwhile, Ogie Diaz was approached by Cristy Fermin regarding Liza Soberano. In "Cristy Ferminute" online, the veteran columnist said she informed Ogie about mentioning Liza on her show. According to Cristy, although Ogie and Liza have parted ways as a manager and talent, Ogie still loves Liza like his own kid.
