Exclusive: Sofia Pablo talks about challenges of being a celebrity

Sofia Pablo is the envy of many young Filipinos due to the glitz and glamor of her life as an actress. However, in an interview with KAMI, Sofia detailed the challenges she faces as a celebrity.

According to Sofia, since she started as a child star, she has been facing difficulties such as exhaustion after taping and lack of sleep. Nonetheless, because of her love of acting, Sofia is able to enjoy even those difficulties.

“Biggest challenge na naranasan so far, since artista ako nung bata ako, is yung, hmmm. Actually po kasi yung puyat, pagod sa taping, na-eenjoy ko po siya, pati yung pag-arte,” she said.

For this reason, the biggest challenge for Sofia in being an actress is being able to put her stamp in whatever role she is given. According to her, she wants every role to be unique and different from her past roles.

“So siguro po ang pinaka challenging na is yung kailangan each role, mag-marka ka talaga and each role kailangan the best lagi. Talagang kailangan iba-iba talaga yung makita, walang similarities. So para sa akin, yun yung pinaka-challenging na ginagawa ko everytime na may bago akong project. Ayan,” Sofia shared.

Sofia Beatrice Hijazi Pablo or Sofia Pablo, born April 10, 2006, is a Kapuso teen star and endorser. She played the role of Donna Lyn or Len Len, the youngest of the three Donnas, in the GMA hit afternoon series "Prima Donnas".

Last year, Sofia also stunned a lot of netizens due to her gorgeous 15th birthday photoshoot with Nice Print Photography. She took to social media to post some endearing photos from the said shoot just a few days before her birthday. Nice Print Photography likewise shared on Instagram snapshots from the "Prima Donnas" star’s “milestone shoot”.

In an exclusive interview with KAMI in 2020, Sofia shared words of encouragement to people who lost their jobs amid the pandemic. It can be recalled that her stint in GMA hit afternoon series “Prima Donnas” got also affected by the implementation of community quarantine. The young Kapuso actress then said that everyone who experienced job loss during the pandemic should never lose hope. “To everyone who lost jobs because of this pandemic, never lose hope because whenever doors close, better doors open!” she said.
