Darryl Yap didn’t hide his seething anger while making a statement about Direk Joel Lamangan and Cherry Pie Picache.

The controversial director made the statement right after the grand media conference of his movie, ‘Martyr or Murderer’.

He said that Direk Joel and Cherry Pie were badmouthing his producers, VIVA big boss, Vic Del Rosario, and the president’s sister, Sen. Imee Marcos.

Direk Darryl said that the two shouldn’t dare malign his bosses because they’re good people.

“Don't you dare, you know, malign my bosses. All the money that was produced here were all from hard work,” he said.

“VIVA is not like that. Sen. Imee is not like that,” he further said.

“This is my ultimate statement and i'm not gonna repeat it. Wag masyadong makapal ang mukha ninyo. This is the day of information technology. Lahat ng sasabihin ninyo, may record,” Direk Darryl concluded.

Darryl Yap is a director and screenwriter. He is the one behind the popular Vincentiments page. He also directed "Maid in Malacañang."

During 'Martyr or Murderer's' grand media conference, Direk Darryl said that Direk Joel Lamangan and Cherry Pie Picache were both liars. He said that the claims of Direk Joel and Cherry Pie about him releasing ‘Martyr or Murderer’ to counter the latter’s movie, ‘Oras de Peligro’, is not true. The controversial director went on to say that Direk Joel and Cherry Pie were allegedly liars for making such a claim. He also called the two allegedly having thick faces for trying to make fools of Filipinos.

On the same occasion, he also took a swipe at Cherry Pie Picache by recalling her role as Edu Manzano’s wife in the movie ‘Tanging Yaman’. Earlier, the controversial director called Cherry Pie and Direk Joel Lamangan liars for claiming that ‘Martyr or Murderer’ was released to counter ‘Oras de Peligro’. He also called out the two for seemingly having “makakapal na mukha." Direk Darryl then remarked that he watched Cherry Pie in ‘Tanging Yaman’ and noted that the movie is different because in its storyline, Edu did not leave or part ways with the actress.
