In his comment on the comedienne’s recent photo upload, Ogie said: “Gandang pinakawalan! Na dapat panghinayangan!”

While Ogie did not say what he really meant, many netizens believed he was referring to Pokwang being let go by her former partner, Lee O’Brian.

Although the two appeared to be on good terms with each other last year, Pokwang started making cryptic posts since last month, which many netizens believe could be directed at Lee.

In her initial reaction to Ogie’s comment, Pokwang replied: “Talaga ba mare? Haahaahaa,” to which Ogie readily replied: “Maniwala ka.”

After the last comment of Ogie, the comedienne finally relented and agreed with him

Pokwang is among the most well-loved comediennes in the industry. Her frank and motherly ways are always "patok" among Filipinos. She used to be with ABS-CBN but moved to GMA during the pandemic. Her break came while working as guest comedienne in a comedy bar in Quezon City, where she got to meet Eric Nicolas, who at the time was looking for someone to work with ABS-CBN.

The comedian also said that Pokwang is someone whom one will simply regret to have let go of. Pokie then responded in the comments section with, "talaga ba mare? Hahaha."

Prior to this, the comedienne took to Instagram and shared that she has received tons of flowers. She thanked all their friends who sent the advance flowers for the upcoming Valentine's Day and who love them dearly. The little girl, Malia, was very happy as could be seen in the video. She also received a lot of encouraging words from netizens.
