Jessy Mendiola made a solemn promise to her newborn daughter that she would protect her at all times.

The actress made the promise through a Facebook post, which also showed a photo of the innocent little angel.

She also expressed how much she loved Baby Rosie, whom they also call Baby Peanut as endearment.

“Mahal na mahal kita, anak. Mommy will always protect you, my little one ,” the actress wrote in her post.

Jessy made the post amid bashings by some netizens who kept on questioning why Jessy and her husband, Luis Manzano, did not immediately show the face of their baby days after she was born.

It can be recalled that the couple went through a lot of bashings after they initially opted not to show the face of Baby Rosie.

Luis even had to confront some of the said bashers by replying and posting about them.

Jessy is an actress, product endorser, and model from the Philippines. She was one of the artists launched under Star Magic batch 15 by ABS-CBN. She went on to star in the lead role for the Filipino adaptation of the Mexican telenovela Maria Mercedes which catapulted her into stardom. She is married to Luis, who works for the Kapamilya network as an actor and host.

Previously, Jessy also posted a short clip of her husband Luis Manzano and their baby girl, Isabella Rose Manzano. Luis is seen in the short clip taking a selfie while carrying his sleeping baby in his arms. The celebrity mommy expressed her joy over the sweet moment by posting heart emoticons and tagging Luis in her post. Both Luis and Jessy seem to be awesome and loving parents to baby Rosie, based on their clips and photos so far.

Before that, Luis had taken to the comments section of his Instagram account and responded to a netizen. The latter commented and said that the couple finally revealed the face of their daughter. "Dami png paarte," the basher said after saying that they finally revealed Baby Peanut's face. The dad struck back and said that the basher seemed to have swallowed Mickey Mouse.
