Alden Richards once again became a subject of discussion in Cristy Fermin’s program, “Cristy Ferminute.”

Cristy said the actor has been receiving negative comments from Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla’s fans following Paolo Contis’ viral interview with the Kapuso star.
“Ang ibang mga tagahanga ng KathNiel, aba naman, ayaw tantanan si Alden Richards. Ang yabang-yabang daw ni Alden. Pakumbaba pa raw kunwari pero hindi naman,” Cristy shared.

“Dati na nating natalakay ito. Kaya lang sa panayam ni Paolo Contis kay Alden ay nasabi kasi Paolo na ang 'Hello, Love, Goodbye,' ang bida taga-GMA. Sabi naman ni Alden parang pleasing to the ears. Masarap pakinggan, sabi niya.”
“At ang sabi ng ibang mga KathNiel (fans), ewan ko lang kung totoong KathNiel itong nagpo-post na ito ha, kasi kilala ko ang mga taga-hanga nina Daniel Padilla at Kathryn Bernardo, hindi sila ganitong katindi mag-post. Pero maaaring mayroon ding naiiba sa kanila. Kasi parang pinalalabas nila na, 'Naku Alden, tama na 'yung pagpapa-humble mo. Napakayabang mo sa totoo lang. Hindi ikaw ang nagdala ng Hello, Love, Goodbye,'”Cristy continued.
The veteran showbiz columnist then went on to come to Alden’s defense.
“Huwag naman po. May mga mata naman tayong nakakakita, may mga tenga naman tayong nakakarinig, may isip naman po tayo na gumagana at puso na marunong tumingin ng tama at mali. 'Wag niyo naman sabihing sahog lang si Alden Richards sa Hello, Love, Goodbye. Isa po siya napakahalagang rekado.
Furthermore, Cristy reiterated how the public patronized Alden and Kathryn’s team-up.
“Ipagpalagay na po na ibang artista ang gumanap. Maaaring matagumpay rin pero tanggapin natin ang katotohanan, tinanggap ang tambalang Alden Richards at Kathryn Bernardo dito sa Hello, Love, Goodbye. Dapat maging matuwa na lang tayo dahil naging matagumpay sila, talagang sinuportahan ng publiko ang kanilang pelikula, tutal naman naghilahan sila pataas.”
“Diba hindi naman sila naghilahan pababa? 'Wag niyo nang kawawain si Alden kasi talagang maling-mali po ang obserbasyon niyo na sahog lang siya. Hindi siya sahog. Kung baga sa sinigang, silang dalawa ni Kathryn ang karne.”
