Bea Alonzo showed her maturity and wisdom during her interview on the GMA program “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.”

The actress replied in the negative when Boy Abunda asked her if it has ever been an issue for her that she is a superstar actress and her boyfriend Dominic Roque is a working-class actor.

According to Bea, she is not the type of woman who measures a man based on his status in life.

The actress said that what is important for her is that she and her partner are happy and content together.

She added that she has been in a relationship before with a super successful guy and it did not work out between them.

Dominic might not be as acclaimed as Bea is as an actor but he is able to give her happiness and fulfillment.

“I am happy and content... Never akong tumingin sa estado ng isang lalake kahit kailan. Meron nga dyan ang ganda on paper, ang cute namin on paper pero hindi naman nag work.

”It was never an issue for me. Iba iba yung standard natin. May nagsasabi sa akin ‘You should date someone more successful than Dom.’ But how do you measure success?“ Bea explained.
