Dani Barretto, nagsalita na sa viral cake fiasco ni Alex Gonzaga: "Nakasakit po ako ng tao"

Dani Barretto finally aired her side on the viral cake issue of Alex Gonzaga.

It can be recalled that the incident was seen in a video uploaded by Dani on her IG Stories.

In an interview uploaded by ABS-CBN on its official FB page, the Barretto sister finally addressed the issue.

"Regrets? Of course, of course, I do have regrets kasi nakasakit po ako ng tao. Siyempre, wala po sa intensyon kong makasakit, lalo na po on her birthday. Siguro yun yung pinakamabigat sa akin na nakasimula ako ng isang bagay na hindi ko naman ginusto," she said.

Dani then underscored how important the Gonzaga family is to them and vice versa.

"Kasi very important sa pamilya namin yung mga Gonzaga kasi, they're very loving to our family. Alex is a very good friend of my sister. So talagang mahal na mahal ng pamilya namin ang mga Gonzaga and vice versa. So masakit sa akin na nakasakit ako ng tao dun sa video na yun," she said.

"That love will overshadow the pain?" asked the reporter.

"Alam naman po iyon ni Alex kasi sa kanya po talaga ako unang nag reach out. Wala pong ibang kinausap, wala pong ibang ginawa but I reached out to her first and apologized to her first. Kaya lang din po na di ako nagsasalita kasi ayaw ko na siya talagang palakihin. Ayoko na pong pag-usapang, yung mga, parang move on na rin po tayo sa isyu na 'to," she added.

She then affirmed that she and Alex are okay.

"Okay po kami ni Alex, wala po kaming ill feelings towards each other," Dani concluded.

Alex Gonzaga is a Filipina actress and comedienne, best known for being one of the most successful YouTube vloggers in the country. She is also the sister of actress Toni Gonzaga and the wife of Lipa, Batangas Councilor Mikee Morada.

In a previous report by KAMI, Alex Gonzaga delighted her Instagram followers when she posted a cute video. It's a TikTok video in which she is seen doing a dance challenge with her family. Her famous sister, Toni Gonzaga, is also spotted dancing in the said clip. As of this writing, the video has already gained 2.2 million views on TikTok.

Earlier, Alex Gonzaga shared a cute old photo on her Instagram feed. It's her childhood photo in which her sister, Toni Gonzaga, is also seen. Furthermore, Alex captioned the picture with a hilarious statement about her thoughts on the said photograph. Lots of netizens reacted to her post and it also went viral on the said social media platform.
