Andi Eigenmann, in an ABS-CBN report, joked about crying before when she did not get the role of Marimar in the famous Philippine adaptation.

The actress posted about this after a netizen commented on a photo where she was looking really beautiful in an island girl getup.

A netizen said that she looked like Marimar, the famous Mexican telenovela character played by Marian Rivera in the Philippine adaptation.

In her IG Story, she said that she cried so hard when she did not get the role of Marimar.

She emphasized though that she was so young and that she did not even audition for it, Inquirer reported.

However, despite not having landed the role, she is now living the life of a real island girl.

"Fun fact: I cried so hard when I didn't get cast as Marimar. FYI, I was so young and I didn't even audition. Same with 'Dyesebel,' but you get it," she said in her IG Story, as reported by Philstar.

"And now here I am, living that 'Marimar' and 'Dyesebel' and 'Marina' life in real life," the actress added.

Andi is a Filipina actress and model. She is the daughter of actors Mark Gil and Jaclyn Jose, and is the half-sister of actors Sid Lucero, Gabby Eigenmann, and Max Eigenmann. Andi has a daughter named Ellie with her ex-boyfriend Jake Ejercito. She also has a baby girl named Lilo and a baby boy named Koa with her fiancé, Philmar Alipayo.

Andi, in a social media post, said that it would be fun if her daughter Ellie would become an athlete. She also said, however, that she’s also happy to see Ellie excel in focusing on her chosen hobby at the moment. The actress and vlogger indicated that what’s important for her is the happiness of Ellie. Andi then surmised that her daughter must have taken after the actress’ brother, Gwen.

She also took to IG Stories and revealed that she is back towards her fitness journey. The mom of three also shared photos of her better physique. In one shot, she revealed that it is Ellie who would take her picture but that her daughter would laugh at her while doing so. Andi has established her family in Siargao and has also been busy with surfing.
