Cristy Fermin recently recollected the time when she and Alex Gonzaga were still working together in showbiz-oriented program on TV5 titled “Juicy.”

In the latest episode of “Cristy Ferminute,” the veteran showbiz columnist shared what a head waiter allegedly asked her about Alex.

She narrated, “Noon kasi may x-deal kami na catering service.”

“Marunong kasi kaming magpasalamat sa kanila dahil x-deal 'yun e, wala namang bayad. Kung mayroon kang puso, pupwede mong bigyan ng extra o tip 'yung mga waiters na naglilingkod sa amin.”

“Ang tanong nu'ng head waiter, 'Ma'am, bakit po si Ma'am Alex, kain naman po nang kain pero parang laging nakasimangot? Hindi man lang po kami kinikibo at hindi kami man lang pinapansin.' Yon ang kanilang tanong.”

Cristy went on to share her observations about the 35-year-old TV host and vlogger.

“'Yun siya e, hindi siya talaga mapagpasalamat. At hindi talaga siya malapit sa mga mas maliliit,” Cristy aired.

“Ang mga waiter kasi itinuturing kong mga manggagawang Pilipino na sumusweldo lamang po ng halaga na hindi pa nga po kakasya sa kanilang pamilya. Ano ba naman 'yung ang sarap-sarap makatanggap sila ng pasasalamat kung wala naman tayong maibibigay na tip, diba? Masarap 'yon, hindi kayang bayaran ng kahit magkano,” she added.

Alex Gonzaga is a Filipina actress and comedienne, best known for being one of the most successful YouTube vloggers in the country. She is also the sister of actress Toni Gonzaga and the wife of Lipa, Batangas Councilor Mikee Morada.

Cristy Fermin had a frank commentary on Kris Lawrence’s trending post and comment. In said post and comment, Kris defended Alex Gonzaga, who drew flak after a video showing her smearing icing on a waiter’s face went viral. During “Cristy Ferminute” on Friday, Cristy aired a fiery message for the singer. The veteran showbiz columnist also condemned Kris’ sentiment about the waiter.

Arnold Clavio shared his thoughts on Alex’s apology. In an Instagram post, Arnold thanked the actress-vlogger for owning her mistake.
