Mommy Pinty took the top spot on Twitter trends after the family's publicist, Peter Ledesma, published the Gonzaga family's statement, and gave it to the entertainment website Fashion Pulis.

The statement, upon publication, quickly went viral and was shared multiple times on social media.

This resulted in Mommy Pinty trending on Twitter.

Earlier, her daughter, Alex Gonzaga, also trended on the same social media site following the viral video where she smeared icing on the face of a service crew, who was holding the cake for her.

Aside from Mommy Pinty and Alex Gonzaga trending online, many celebrities and social media personalities also reacted to the video and expressed their opinions online.

Some of those who reacted include MG, Toni Fowler, RR Enriquez, Kris Lawrence, Arnold Clavio, China Cojuangco, Dawn Chang and a whole lot more.

Alex Gonzaga is a Filipina actress and comedienne, best known for being one of the most successful YouTube vloggers in the country. She is also the sister of actress Toni Gonzaga and the wife of Lipa, Batangas Councilor Mikee Morada.

Alex was invited by former Comelec Commissioner Atty. Rowena Guanzon to her home city's Dinagsa festival in Negros Occidental. The former commissioner said that her home city, Cadiz City in Negros Occidental, will be having its Lamhitanay sa Dalan for the Dinagsa Festival. She said that it is legal to smear paint on the faces of people. Guanzon further urged the vlogger to come because it is fun and if she does, she would just have to watch out for the former commissioner.

Internet personality Mama Lulu also took to Twitter and likewise expressed her opinion on the viral video of Alex. She gave an important lesson with regards service workers, highlighting the need to respect them. For the elderly internet personality, she stated that she would be mad if it would be done by someone who is not a blood relative. If it would be done other than a blood relative, Mama Lulu said that it would simply be insulting.
