Cristy Fermin sa statement ng kampo ni Alex Gonzaga sa cake issue: “Halatang-halata na damage control”

Cristy Fermin took a swipe at the statement of the Gonzaga family regarding the much-talked-about issue involving Alex Gonzaga.

Recently, Peter Ledesma, a showbiz writer, released a statement about the issue on behalf of the Gonzaga family.

Cristy talked about the statement in the latest episode of ‘Cristy Ferminute’: “Naglabas na po ng paliwanag ang kanyang kampo na nagsasabing kabiruan daw po ni Alex Gonzaga itong waiter na si Allan dahil miyembro daw po ito ng isang catering service na lagi nilang kinukuha kapag may okasyon sa kanilang pamilya.”

During the discussion, Cristy could not help but call the statement “damage control.”

“Romel alam mo, karaniwan naman sa Showbiz talaga meron 'yung tinatawag nating damage control. Kasama 'yan sa laban. May mga istasyon, mga network, magagaling sila sa damage control para balansehin yoong opinyon ng ating mga kababayan, ng publiko sabihin na natin.”

“Kumalat na po na parang apoy ang pagkwestiyon sa ugali ni Alex Gonzaga bago ito lumabas. Ang pinakamaganda nilang dapat ginawa dito, kung totoo na itong si Allan ay kanilang kaibigan at kasama sa catering service na kinukuha nila, inilagay nila sa caption o may naglabas sa kanila na, 'Si Alex at si Allan, ang waiter na tinalampakan niya ng icing noo, magkaibigan sila,'” she added.

Furthermore, Cristy expressed her belief that it would be better if the statement came from the waiter himself.

“Kita naman na nabigla siya. At saka alam niyo po ang unang dapat nagsalita diyan, kung totoo na hindi na-offend 'yung server, siya mismo, 'yung Allan mismo. Hindi 'yung pinalipas niyo pa ang ilang araw bago kayo naglabas ng pambalanse sa isyung ito.”

“Halatang-halata na damage control ito na para takpan itong ginawa ni Alex na talaga buong bayan na ang nagsasabi na bastos,” Cristy stressed.

Alex Gonzaga is a Filipina actress and comedienne, best known for being one of the most successful YouTube vloggers in the country. She is also the sister of actress Toni Gonzaga.

During “Cristy Ferminute” on Tuesday, Cristy aired a fiery message for Alex. The veteran showbiz columnist told Alex, who recently turned 35, “wala ka pa ring pinagkatandaan."

China Cojuangco also expressed her thoughts on the statement of the Gonzaga family regarding the waiter fiasco of Alex. The younger sister of Mikee Cojuangco was dismayed by the way that the statement of Gonzaga's addressed the waiter "Allan." For her, referring to Allan as "this Allan" sounded off and "nangliliit." Coming from a member of the Cojuangco clan, China said that all Alex needed to do was to apologize.
