RR Enriquez reacts to Alex Gonzaga's viral 'icing-smearing' video: "Need mag-mature ng konti"

RR Enriquez, 39, aired her honest thoughts and opinion over Alex Gonzaga's viral 'icing-smearing' video on social media.

On January 18, Wednesday, KAMI learned that the internet personality expressed how difficult it is to be a comedian.

According to RR, it is very easy to judge someone nowadays based on their mistakes, and what we see on social media alone.

In her Instagram page, RR said she can relate to Alex, especially when it comes to being makulit and wanting to make people laugh.

"Sa totoo lang hindi madali maging komedyante… Relate ako minsan kay Alex. Kasi minsan talaga sa sobrang kulit mo at gusto mo magpatawa lang naman, akala mo nakakatawa ka pa, yun pala offensive na sa iba…. But your intension naman is not to harm or mamahiya ng tao," she wrote.

Halfway through her post, RR said that she did not see anything wrong with the video of Alex smearing icing on a waiter's face.

"I honestly didn’t see anything wrong sa pagpahid ng cake… Kapag birthday mo you have the right na magpahid ng cake or worst, ikaw ang pahiran at hindi ka pwede magalit. Pero totoo na you can only do that sa mga ka-close mo," she admitted.

However, RR also said that as comedians, they should refrain from using the "gusto ko lang magpatawa" card all the time.

"I'm sure may bad attitude din yan si Alex pero bakit tayo wala ba?! But as a comedienne we can’t always use the word 'gusto ko lang magpatawa'. Sometimes we need to grow up and mature also, I'm sure matututo na rin si Alex kumalma ng konti at uminom muna ng mga gamot bago magpatawa. CHAROT," she said.

Aside from this, when one of her followers sent the video to her, RR also admitted that Alex needs to mature a bit as well.

"Makulit kasi talaga yan si Alex parang ako. Minsan kapag super saya na, hindi na nakakapagisip if ok lang ba yung joke na yun or hindi. But I believe that doesn't mean masama na ugali niya. Nasobrahan lang talaga sa kulit and need mag-mature ng konti haha," she wrote.

RR Enriquez rose to popularity after appearing on the variety and game program Wowowee as one of the dancers. Along with Mariel Rodriguez and Valerie Concepcion, RR became one of the show's hosts. She appeared in the ABS-CBN comedy show Banana Split alongside Angelica Panganiban and Pokwang, among others.
