Janella Salvador, 24, took to social media to mourn the passing of her cat, Twínkie, who has been with her since she was seven years old.

On Monday, January 16, KAMI learned that the celebrity mom uploaded an old photo of herself carrying Twínkie in her arms.

In her viral post, Janella began by saying that the hardest part about loving animals and having pets is knowing that you will outlive them.

She then gave a backstory to the polaroid photo she uploaded online, revealing that it was an old photo that was taken back in February of 2006.

According to Janella, it was actually a "gift from my mama" and that she found Twínkie at a pet shop in Pasay.

"That’s 7 year old me in February ‘06, proud and ecstatic to be holding my advanced 8th birthday gift from my mama. I found him at a pet shop in Pasay and fell in love so fast that I didn’t want to leave him behind and wait for my birthday. He was the perfect cuddly gentle cat anyone could ever dream of. Thank you for sharing 17 years of your life with us, Twínkie. You have a spot in my heart forever," she wrote.

On Instagram, the celebrity mom uploaded a new video that she and Jane de Leon took. In the viral video, Jane could be seen doing a dub before she and Janella broke characters.

Meanwhile, Janella Salvador and Markus Paterson were spotted together during the birthday celebration of their child, Jude.
