Xander Ford talks about being a father; praises partner Gena Mago as a mom

Xander Ford opened up to KAMI about his experience so far as a first-time father after his partner, Gena Mago, gave birth to their baby Xeres.

According to Xander, he is still adjusting to his role as a father. He admitted that he did not expect that caring for a baby would deprive him of so much sleep.

“Una sa lahat, hindi ko pa na experience maging isang ama kaya ngayon ko palang mararanasan ang maging magulang. Ang hindi ko namang inaasahang parte is yung mapupuyat kami ng halos 24 hours dahil mayat-maya gumigising si Baby Xeres,” Xander shared.

As for his partner Gena, Xander praised her for being kind and understanding as a first-time mom. However, Xander sometimes worries about her because of her lack of sleep while caring for their child. He also described Gena as a woman who should be loved and respected.

“Sa akin walang problema ang asawa ko napakabait at maintindihin. Naawa din ako sa kanya dahil napapagod sya sa pag alaga at puyat ganitong kapapanganak palang nya. Nagustuhan ko sya kasi isa sya sa dapat nirerespeto at sya ay kamahal-mahal,” Xander told KAMI.

Xander Ford, formerly known as Marlou Arizala, is an actor, performer, and social media celebrity in the Philippines. He became the talk of the town years ago when his plastic surgeries were featured on the ABS-CBN program, “Rated K.”

Donnalyn Bartolome offered to pay the P195-K bill of Xian Gaza at a club in Singapore. However, Marlou Arizala a.k.a. Xander Ford, asked Donnalyn if she could just give the P195,000 to him instead. He needs the money to pay for the hospital and medical bills of his pregnant partner’s parents.

Xian Gaza and Xander Ford had a conversation on Facebook messenger. In an FB post, Xian shared a screenshot showing their exchange of personal messages. According to the screengrab, Xian and Xander were talking about the latter’s gender reveal party and baby shower for his upcoming baby.
