Kim Atienza, nag-react sa viral “back to work” post ni Donnalyn Bartolome: “Iba iba ang blessings”

Kuya Kim Atienza recently shared his honest thoughts on Donnayln Bartolome’s now-deleted post that drew flak on social media.

In the said post, the famous vlogger asked why there are some people who get sad getting back to work after the holiday season.

On his Facebook page, Kuya Kim underscored that each person is being blessed differently.

“To do something you enjoy and get paid for it is a blessing. Some are not blessed this way despite the fact that they try so hard to find work they enjoy. They are blessed differently naman. A good wife? Beautiful kids? Good health? Iba iba ang blessings. Ibat iba din ang diskarte sa ibat ibang break sa buhay.”

“Just my 2 centavos. Back to you guys,” he added.

In the comments section of his post, Kuya Kim also clarified that he is not trying to put down Donnalyn.

“Good morning FB fam! This post is not meant to put down Donnalyn in any way. She is coming from a good place. The post just hit a raw nerve on the majority of the working public.”

The Kapuso TV presenter also stressed, “Mabait si Donnalyn.”

Kuya Kim is the son of Lito Atienza, a well-known politician. He is famous for his broad knowledge and love for animals. He worked as a politician from 1995 till 2004. He became the weather anchor of the ABS-CBN newscast, "TV Patrol", and also hosted the educational show "Matanglawin" on the same network. He transferred to GMA in 2021.

Earlier, Kuya Kim took to Twitter and expressed his thoughts amid the viral issue of Zeinab Harake and Wilbert Tolentino. He gave valuable advice to all those people who are already famous. The TV host said that fame is just so fleeting and temporary. He then added that one must be very careful whenever he or she is posting anything once he has already become famous.

This particular advice received a bit of bashing from some netizens who called Kuya Kim “hindi na matunog” and “laos” following his post. The unsolicited remarks of bashers prompted the award-winning TV host to respond.
