Marcelito Pomoy shared the lines that Jovit would tell him that he would never forget.
His good friend has always been very supportive of him, and he even said that he really looks up to the guy.
“Napakabait ni Jovit, kasi nung unang salang ko pa lang sa semi-finals sa Pilipinas Got Talent, nandun na kaagad siya,” Marcelito narrated when he faced reporters at the wake of Jovit.

The singer then fondly recalled the necklace that Jovit would lend him, and revealed that it was his lucky charm.

“Naalala niyo yung kuwintas na binigay niya sakin, yung pinapahiram niya sakin, isa yung lucky charm para sakin,” the singer stated.
He then recalled the words that Jovit would tell him, that he will never forget.
“Sabi niya sakin, kahit anong mangyari brod, andito ako para sumuporta sayo. Yun yung hindi ko malilimutan na sinasabi niya sakin. Kaya sobrang nasaktan ako sa mga nangyari,” Marcelito said.
Marcelito Pomoy is one of the most acclaimed singers in the Philippines. He is known for having an equally-beautiful tenor and soprano voice.
Jovit, the Season One Pilipinas Got Talent grand winner, passed away at the young age of 29 on Dec. 9. The singer was the first-ever grand winner of PGT, who bagged the P2 million grand prize. His grand finals performance in 2010 where he sang "Too Much Love Will Kill You" was revisited by netizens. Jovit, at the time, garnered the majority of the votes overnight, making him the grand winner and propelling him to stardom.

The singer's sudden passing has stunned several netizens all over social media. Recently, on Twitter, MJ Felipe released a series of posts regarding the late singer's final moments. As per his report, the late singer was revealed to have been invited by a family friend from Batangas City. Reports state that Jovit still sang three songs for the crowd even though he was advised not to sing while recuperating.
