The late singer died in the early morning of December 9, 2022, after lying in a coma in a hospital ICU for a couple of days.

Earlier, online news media outlet, Fashion Pulis reported that he was rushed to the hospital after he allegedly collapsed during a party in Batangas City.

Many regarded Jovit’s rise to stardom as a model for other aspiring artists who also desire to make it and become successful in the Pinoy music industry.

In a report by the Inquirer, the media outlet recalled that the late singer started out as a siomai vendor.

He then auditioned and became one of the contestants of the Season One of Pilipinas Got Talent way back in 2010.

After his grand win, Jovit held his first major concert at the Aliw Theater on November 13 of the same year.

In a report by Philippine Star before that concert, Jovit admitted getting nervous upon learning that Nyoy Volante would be the musical director of that concert, which was titled “Faithfully.”

“Noong una ko pong malaman na magkakaroon ako ng first solo major concert, talaga pong sabi ko po sa sarili na ako po na isang simpleng tao, ay magkakaroon ng solo concert? Umakyat na lang po ako sa kuwarto sa condo at nakatingala lang po ako sa Itaas at iniisip ko po kung ano ang mangyayari,” Jovit said back then.

Jovit Baldivino was a Filipino singer who was propelled into the limelight when he joined the reality TV Show, Pilipinas Got Talent. He also won a prestigious competition in 2010. Before his demise, he has been performing all over the Philippines in fiestas and other events. Jovit died on December 9, 2022.

The world of showbiz was recently shocked by the news of PGT grand champion Jovit Baldivino dying at the age of 29. His wife, Camille Ann Miguel, posted a photo of both of them, and captioned it with crying images. It was previously reported that Jovit was at a party in Batangas but was rushed to the hospital. He was also reported to have stayed for several days in the ICU but succumbed.

The last TV appearance of the late PGT grand winner Jovit Baldivino was in Family Feud. He was well and happy, giving it his best in order for his team, Fourda Win, to bag the prize. In one of his iconic answers, Dingdong Dantes asked him a question about the sea, to which he answered "siokoy." Jovit died on Dec. 9, at 4:08 a.m. at the Jesus of Nazareth Hospital.
