Vhong Navarro was granted bail by the court to the tune of P1 million.
As per the order of Judge Loralie Cruz Datahan of Branch 69 of the Regional Trial Court of Taguig, the court stated that it was not convinced at that particular point that there exists a great presumption that could lead to an inference of the guilt on the part of the accused TV host.
Based on the report of Mike Navallo on ABS-CBN, there were inconsistencies in the affidavits, as well as in the statements given by Deniece in court were inconsistent.

The court pointed out in particular her responses as a witness, who claimed that she suffered from trauma.
"The foregoing statements of the complainant are, to the mind of this Court, inconsistent with her claim of trauma, and outside the reasonable expectations for someone who just underwent a painful ordeal,” said the court, in its order posted by Mike Navallo on Twitter.
"It must be emphasized, however, that a grant of bail does not prevent the Court, as trier of facts, from making a final assessment of the evidence after full trial on the merits," said the court as indicated in Philstar's report.
